Wolfgang Schwab is a Senior Advisor & Program Manager Efficient Infrastructure at Experton Group.
Before joining Experton Group Mr. Schwab worked as Senior Consultant for META Group. His focus is on IT vendor consulting regarding issues such as business value analysis and its benefits for areas such as marketing, sales and channel strategies, business development and channel development. In addition Mr. Schwab gives advice in strategic questions for the above mentioned areas. and he conducts market and competitive analysis.
Mr. Schwab also advises user clients on topics such as business value analysis and the proof of profitability.
In his position as a senior consultant for META he has built up META Group's IT Architecture and Infrastructure as well as the Emerging Vendors & Venture Capital division. Prior to this, Mr. Schwab worked for Compaq Computer Germany as head of the market research department.
Mr. Schwab holds a masters degree in information sciences of the University of Stuttgart and an MBA degree of the European University Toulouse.

Schwerpunktmäßig berät Herr Schwab IT-Anwender und IT-Anbieter in den Bereichen Green IT und Wirtschaftlichkeitsrechnung. Darüber hinaus berät Herr Schwab IT-Anbieter in den Bereichen Marketing- und Vertriebsstrategien hinsichtlich der strategischen Ausrichtung und führt Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen durch. Zusätzlich berät Herr Schwab IT-Anwender im Themenbereich: IT-Strategie.
Vor seinem Wechsel zur Experton Group war Herr Schwab als Senior Consultant für die META Group tätig. Er hat in dieser Position den Bereich IT-Architektur und Infrastruktur sowie den Bereich Emerging Vendors und Venture Capital aufgebaut.
Vor dieser Position war Herr Schwab bei Compaq Computer Deutschland als Abteilungsleiter für den Bereich Market Research verantwortlich. Wolfgang Schwab hat einen Abschluss als Diplom-Informatiker der Universität Stuttgart sowie ein Diplom als Master of Business Administration der European University Toulouse.
